Grantmaking Snapshot: Brickstreet Theatre

The COVID-19 pandemic caused many nonprofits to shift how they offered services, including BrickStreet Theatre, whose goal was to safely bring live theatre back to North Iowa. A grant from the Winnebago County Community Foundation was used to purchase microphones and headsets for each cast and crew member, ensuring health and safety and allowing performances to run more efficiently. BrickStreet Theatre was able to get back on stage with successful performances of Macbeth, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Willy Wonka, Jr.
