Thank you!

The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa relies on over 350 local volunteers who provide us with personal, in-depth knowledge of community needs across our 20-county region. CFNEIA volunteers serve on the board of directors, guide local affiliate impact committees, provide leadership for Foundation advancement, evaluate grant proposals, and review scholarship applications.

We could not carry out our important mission of enriching communities without their tireless efforts. Thank you to the individuals who serve on our board and committees. Your leadership, time, talent, expertise, and community-minded philanthropy drive us every day.

Affiliate Committee Volunteers

Kossuth Governing Committee Volunteers

CFNEIA collaborates with 23 affiliate impact committees led by local volunteers who are committed to making their communities stronger, more inclusive places for all people. Committees consist of up to 15 members elected to serve a term of three years so the Foundation is always in need of committed, community-minded individuals to volunteer.

Why volunteer with the Foundation? Serving on a Community Foundation committee gives local citizens the opportunity to be more deeply engaged with their communities. It allows committee members to learn about the needs throughout their area and provides the committee with a way to help nonprofits meet those local needs. Finally, it allows the committee to make good things happen by making where we live a better place for all.

If you live in our region and are interested in serving on one of our affiliate committees, please complete our online volunteer interest form. Or call our office at 319-287-9106.
