Community Room Space Usage During COVID-19 Public Health Situation
Due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) public health situation, the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa has closed the Ike Leighty Family Community Room for public use through April 30, 2020. We will continue to take reservations for nonprofits planning meetings and events after this date, but please be aware that this situation is very fluid and the Community Foundation will continue to make decisions on Commmunity Room usage that keep the public and our staff safe and healthy.
A meeting space designed for nonprofits
The Ike Leighty Family Community Room was created to provide a gathering space for strategic planning, staff enrichment, board and committee involvement, and other important gatherings for nonprofit organizations. We are grateful to the late Ike Leighty for his generous support of this community space and his vision for a strong nonprofit community. We are honored to partner with our nonprofit friends as we all seek to create stronger, more vibrant communities and provide vital opportunities and services to the people in our region.
The Ike Leighty Family Community Room is located at 3117 Greenhill Circle in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The room has four preset layouts available with the largest including seating for 68 people. Technology includes an HD projector and screen and a PA system. A fully functional kitchen is also available. The room is available both during Foundation office hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and after business hours until 9 p.m.
Please download and read the Ike Leighty Family Community Room Policy for detailed information and requirements. To reserve the Community Room, complete the online pre-reservation form, whereupon someone from our team will contact you to confirm your reservation.
