Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for female students graduating from Black Hawk County high schools who will be attending an accredited university or junior college within the state of lowa, and who demonstrate the abilities required to successfully complete the requirements of the institution chosen. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25, and must demonstrate active volunteerism or involvement in community service.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the Waterloo Business and Professional Women's Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
