Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for students graduating from Union High School and pursuing a degree in teaching. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Priority will be given to individuals with a strong desire to achieve a teaching degree and a family income that would typically prevent the student from receiving scholarship awards based on financial need.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the Louise Vincent Conklin and Robert Conklin Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
