Our Local Community Foundations
Our region encompasses 20-counties in Iowa. We collaborate with local community members to identify unique local needs and opportunities to create a regional impact.
CFNEIA is committed to building communities where everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Using an equity focus, we emphasize collaboration, convening, and community investment to be a catalyst for change in our initiative areas.
Strong nonprofits equal strong communities. We focus on six core grantmaking areas to guide grant decisions. This framework allows us to make impacts that meet the needs of our region and inspire generosity.
CFNEIA leads programs connecting people to their community through education, collaboration, and grantmaking and partners with other organizations to develop community solutions and strengthen the nonprofit sector.
With over 325 people making local decisions for the communities they love, volunteers are at the heart of our impact. We are always looking for community-minded people to join our mission.
