The West Fork Food Pantry has established the West Fork Food Pantry Endowment Fund with the Franklin County Community Foundation to support the charitable activities of the pantry.
The West Fork Food Pantry, Inc. is a faith-based, volunteer-driven organization serving food-insecure residents of Franklin County and the West Fork School District. Supported by charitable donations from individuals, churches, and organizations, the pantry partners with the Food Bank of Iowa to provide quality food while protecting the privacy and dignity of every client.
“Since the need continues for our weekly food distributions, this fund was established to help the West Fork Food Pantry serve those in need in our communities long into the future,” said Diane Willis, Site Coordinator of the West Fork Food Pantry.
The West Fork Food Pantry Endowment Fund is professionally managed and invested to grow over time while allowing flexibility to access funds when needed. Contributions to the fund will help the pantry purchase food and other essential items to further its mission.
Gifts can be made online at www.cfneia.org/donations/west-fork-food-pantry-fund. Gifts of cash, check, and stock are accepted through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, 3117 Greenhill Circle, Cedar Falls, IA 50613, which is the administrative office of the Franklin County Community Foundation. Checks should be made payable to “West Fork Food Pantry Endowment Fund.”
