Due to the incredible generosity of Iowans, all Endow Iowa tax credits have been allocated for 2024. Thank you to all our generous partners who chose the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa or one of our local community foundations to carry out your charitable vision this year. While 2024 tax credits are gone, gifts made this year may be eligible to receive a 2025 Endow Iowa tax credit. Below is more information for donors interested in receiving the tax credit in 2025.

What Happens Next

• No new Endow Iowa tax credit applications will be accepted in 2024. The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) has eliminated the waitlist process.
• Generous donors who made an Endow Iowa eligible gift in 2024 but did not receive a tax credit will be sent a 2025 credit application by CFNEIA in January 2025.
• All applications must be submitted within 12 months of the date of the donation to an Endow Iowa eligible fund.

Later this month and into the new year, IEDA will begin sending 2024 tax credit certificates to those donors who were awarded credits for 2024.
