Due to the incredible generosity of Iowans, all Endow Iowa tax credits have been allocated for 2025. Thank you for your generosity and for choosing the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa or one of our local community foundations to carry out your charitable vision this year. While 2025 tax credits are gone, gifts made this year may be eligible to receive a 2026 Endow Iowa tax credit.

What Happens Next

• No new Endow Iowa tax credit applications will be accepted by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) in 2025.
• Donors who made an Endow Iowa eligible gift in 2025 but did not receive a tax credit will be sent a 2026 credit application by CFNEIA in January 2026.
• All applications must be submitted within 12 months of the date of the donation to an Endow Iowa eligible fund.

Later this month and into the new year, IEDA will begin sending 2025 tax credit certificates to those donors who were awarded credits for 2025.
