Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for students graduating from BCLUW High School who will be attending an accredited university, junior college, or trade school and who demonstrate the ability to complete the requirements of the institution chosen successfully. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have served their community through volunteer work. Preference goes to students who are pursuing a degree in elementary education.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the Kendra Kleespie Scholarship Fund with the Grundy County Community Foundation allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
