Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for students graduating from Waterloo East High School who will be attending an accredited two-year or four-year college , university or junior college and who demonstrates the ability to successfully complete the requirements of the institution chosen. Students must have a GPA of 2.5 of higher. Priority will be given to students who with superior academic achievements, community service, extra curricular participation, and who demonstrate financial need.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the WCSF: East High Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
