Scholarship Criteria
One-year scholarships for students graduating from Black Hawk County high schools pursuing a degree in visual art at an accredited university, college, junior college, or trade school. Preference goes to students attending Hawkeye Community College, University of Northern Iowa, or Wartburg College. To apply for this scholarship, contact the Waterloo Center for the Arts.
Give to the Fund
Financial gifts to the WCA: Marilyn Ann Hurley Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allow the Waterloo Center for the Arts to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
