Scholarship Criteria
Two-year scholarships for students graduating from Union High School who will be attending an accredited nonprofit university, college, junior college or trade school within the state of Iowa, and who will be pursuing a degree in one of the following fields, listed in order of preference: nursing, healthcare related, or education. Students must demonstrate financial need. Preference given to students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher and who are employed while enrolled in high school.
Give to the Fund
Financial gifts to the Mildred and Everett Sanders Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
