Scholarship Criteria
One-year scholarships for students graduating from Don Bosco High School, and who are pursuing an agricultural related degree. Recipients must demonstrate a proven work ethic, with preference for an ag-related work experience. Additional preference for students with GPAs between 2.5 and 3.5 and who have participated in FFA and/or 4-H programs.
Give to the Fund
Financial gifts to the Merle and Barb Hershberger Agriculture Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
