Kenneth and Maxine McNerney Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Criteria
One-year scholarships for students graduating from Waverly Shell Rock High School who have participated in the athletic program of the high school, have demonstrated the abilities required to successfully achieve personal career goals, are in need of financial assistance, and have strong desire to enhance their education at an accredited institution of higher learning. Students wishing to attend trade school or technical school other than four-year institution are also qualified for this scholarship. Give to the Fund
Financial gifts to the Kenneth and Maxine McNerney Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Waverly-Shell Rock Community Schools Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
