In recognition of more than 100 years of community impact, the Cedar Valley Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star No. 128 is closing and merging with Cedar Falls Chapter No. 78 while establishing the Cedar Valley Eastern Star Nursing Scholarship Fund to preserve its legacy. This fund supports students pursuing a nursing degree at Allen College who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled in an accredited program. Annual distributions will be directed to the Allen Foundation, which will administer the application and selection process. This fund reflects the chapter’s enduring commitment to caring for others by investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals.
