The town of St. Lucas was reminded in 2019 of the power of community. After outgrowing its space, the St. Lucas Firefighters Association began its quest for a new fire station. Donations and grants covered the cost while community members donated their time to complete the project. The new fire station was supported and built, literally, by the community. More space for fire trucks and equipment have allowed for quicker load and response times, making the station an even greater asset to St. Lucas and the surrounding area.
