Benton County Community Foundation grant support allowed Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity to partner with Heritage Agency on Aging to identify and serve Benton County seniors and disabled adults needing critical home repairs. Volunteers, Habitat staff, and the AmeriCorps Mobile Response Team worked side-by-side with the partner families to reduce tripping hazards, create better home access, improve air quality, and complete other repairs. Meeting these critical needs allows the individuals to remain in their own home longer, providing freedom and ensuring safety.
