Director of Community Impact
The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is seeking an individual who believes in the power of community and is committed to carrying out the Foundation’s “here for good” philosophy to be our Director of Community Impact. This position will work closely with our Vice President of Community Impact and will regularly collaborate with our entire team to strengthen our ability to serve as an effective funder and community leader. The Director of Community Impact oversees assigned areas of grantmaking activities of the Foundation and plays a critical role in the planning and delivery of Foundation programs. As a member of CFNEIA’s Impact Team, this individual will be a key contributor to the implementation of our impact model in which asset development, grantmaking, and nonprofit relations are integrated to maximize impact in our communities.
The ideal candidate should have a background in nonprofit management, strong attention to detail, and excellent facilitation and communication skills. This individual must demonstrate professional and personal commitment to the Foundation’s values of collaboration, equity, leadership and trust - engaging with staff, community leaders, and organizations working to create communities where everyone can thrive.
