A Matching Gift Campaign for Women and Girls
Join other women across Black Hawk County to inspire and increase the impact for women and girls by participating in the Inspire Her Matching Gift Campaign. Gifts made will help us reach our $75,000 goal for the Women's Fund. Thanks to the lead generosity and vision of women who believe in the power of the Women's Fund, $75,000 in matching funds are available. This means your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar and will double the impact to create more opportunities to inspire her.
What Does it Mean to Inspire Her?
Nationally, only 1.6 percent of giving goes to women-focused organizations, according to The Women and Girls Index Report released in 2019 by the IUPUI Women's Philanthropy Institute.
This trend is also being seen locally. This year, the Women’s Fund had $237,000 in grant requests and was only able to grant $21,000. More dollars raised through the Inspire Her Matching Gift Campaign provide more grant funding to nonprofits who directly serve women and girls right here in the Cedar Valley.
