Scholarship CriteriaOne-year scholarships for students graduating from Waterloo West High School or Expo Alternative High School. For West, priority will be given to students with a GPA of 3.5 or above and plans to pursue a degree in education at a four-year college in Iowa. For Expo, priority will be given to individuals with a GPA of 2.5 or above who have been at Expo for at least 3 quarters and who are good citizens.Give to the FundFinancial gifts to the Janee' Petersen Memorial Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
