Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for students graduating from Dike-New Hartford High School who will be attending an accredited university, junior college or trade school within the state of Iowa. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Priority is given to four-year participants in cross country or track and field, and to students planning to attend a Division II or Division III school to participate in collegiate athletics. Preference given to students who demonstrate exemplary character, leadership, scholarship, and service. To apply for this scholarship, contact the Dike-New Hartford Dollars for Scholars.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the Phil Kruger Memorial Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allow the Dike-New Hartford Dollars for Scholars to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
