Join the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa for the 2026 Black Hawk County 1st Cycle Grant Awards Ceremony as we celebrate the nonprofits and community projects receiving grant funding in Black Hawk County.
This special event brings together nonprofit leaders, donors, and community members to recognize the impact of local philanthropy across Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and surrounding communities. During the program, we will announce and honor the 2026 first cycle grant recipients and highlight how community foundation grants are strengthening Black Hawk County.
Light refreshments will be provided, along with a brief program recognizing funded organizations and their community impact.

Celebrate local impact and learn how charitable giving is strengthening the communities of Worth County. This annual event brings together nonprofit organizations, donors, volunteers, and community members to recognize the 2025 grant recipients and highlight the meaningful work taking place across our region.
The establishment of the Jaspers Family Foundation Fund of Worth County with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa was made possible by the Jaspers Family. Maynard and Marjory Jaspers were long-time successful business owners in Worth County. They had three songs with no heirs. At his death, Donald Jaspers donated the proceeds from the combined estates of the Jaspers Family to provide charitable support for Worth County.
The Jaspers Family Foundation Fund of Worth County, a fund of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, invests in projects that improve quality of life and create long-term opportunities for the people who call Worth County home. Whether you are receiving a grant this year or simply want to stay connected to the good things happening in your community, this celebration is the perfect opportunity to hear inspiring stories, meet local leaders, and learn more about community philanthropy.
