This member meeting brings together local experts and organizations to explore the current landscape of women’s wellness\, healthcare access\, and community health challenges affecting women across Black Hawk County. \nFrom preventive care and chronic disease management to mental health\, reproductive health\, and healthcare access\, this event will provide a comprehensive look at the issues women in our region are navigating every day and where critical gaps still exist. \nWhy Attend\nThis event is designed for Women for Good members and community-minded women who want to: \n\nGain insight into the state of women’s health in the Cedar Valley\nBetter understand barriers to healthcare access and affordability\nLearn about local resources supporting physical\, mental\, and reproductive health\nEngage in meaningful conversation around community needs and solutions\nConnect this knowledge to Women for Good’s grantmaking and impact\n\nFeatured Community Organizations\nHear directly from local organizations working across key areas of women’s health and wellness\, including: \n\nBeyond Pink – Breast health\, early detection\, and prevention\nFocus on Diabetes – Chronic disease management and long-term health outcomes\nGuiding Star Cedar Valley – Reproductive and holistic women’s health\nPathways Behavioral Services – Mental and behavioral health across the lifespan\nTogether for Youth - Prevention and early education\, supporting adolescent health and young families\n\nEach organization will provide a brief spotlight on their work\, followed by a moderated panel. \n
