After more than 100 years of service, the Cedar Valley Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star No. 128 is closing and merging with Cedar Falls Chapter No. 78. To honor its long-standing commitment to the community, the chapter has established the Cedar Valley Eastern Star Education Scholarship Fund. This fund will support students pursuing a degree in Elementary Education who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution. Annual distributions will be directed to the University of Northern Iowa Foundation, which will administer the application process and select recipients. Through this fund, the chapter’s legacy of supporting education will continue to shape future generations.
