The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa's Teen Trust program is a model for youth philanthropy. Teen Trust was created with a vision in mind - to prepare youth to be "trustees of their community." And at the heart of becoming a trustee means finding a way for youth to learn about and also actively practice philanthropy. Learn more
Women for Good
Women for Good educates, engages, and inspires giving to improve the lives of women and girls in Black Hawk County. Women for Good grants over $10,000 every year through the Women's Fund endowment. Established in 1999 as Women in Philanthropy, the group has granted over $95,000 to programs and projects impacting women and girls. Learn more
Metro Funders is a voluntary alliance of Black Hawk County public and private grantmakers originally formed in 1989. Metro Funders serves as an essential provider of valuable information, training and collaborative opportunities for both funders and grantseekers and encourages an effective nonprofit network in the Black Hawk County area.
