POS Scholarship
Each year, POS (Professional Office Services, Inc. ®) offers the dependents of their employees the opportunity to apply for a scholarship.
Procedures
1. Complete the
POS scholarship application. Click here to download.
2. Attach
one page summary sheet addressing the following:
- What do you hope to achieve by going to a post-secondary institution?
- What are your long-term plans, and how do you plan on achieving them
3. Attach
one reference letter from a teacher, coach, employer or other adult mentor (not a family member).
4. Attach a copy of
your most recent school transcripts.

Submit your proposal by the application deadline (postmarked) to:

Deadlines
The completed POS application must be returned to the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa by
March 29, 2010 (postmark deadline).
Criteria
To be eligible for the POS Corporation Scholarship, a student must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a dependent of a POS employee, or be an employee of POS Corporation.
- Be enrolled at an accredited high school or post secondary school.
- Plan to attend an accredited public or private college or university, vocational technical school or any other post-secondary institution full-time starting in the fall of 2010.
- Have at least a 2.5 grade point average.
- Demonstrate positive steps in wanting to succeed in post-secondary education.
